Have You Drank Your Water Today?

You likely have heard lemon water is good for you! ...But really there are so many positive health benefits to beginning the day with a glass of clean, filtered water with a squeeze of fresh lemon juice in it; especially if you have low HCL in your tummy! Maintaining stomach acid levels is so important to our health and digestive system. If we have lack of HCL- proteins aren't broken down properly, and certain minerals aren't absorbed & assimilated. Our stomach is like a pit of fire - it needs to be acidic so it can kill incoming bacteria and help digest our food! So one last tip... Don't guzzle down a ton of lemon water at meal time because this dilutes your stomach acid. Instead, have a glass of lemon water upon rising 30 mins before breakfast, and then sip on water through out the day as need be.
